What National Capital collects, why, who we share it with, and your choices.
Last updated October 23, 2026.
Who this covers
This policy covers nationalcapitalnow.com, its chat and the National Capital application. National Capital helps businesses find financing. We are not a lender.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, business name, email address and phone number; the amount of funding you want, how long the business has operated, its monthly sales and what the funding is for. If you continue to our partner's full application, details such as business address, tax ID, ownership, bank statements and identification are collected there.
- As you go: information you enter in the application or the chat is saved as you complete each step, from the moment you give your email address, including if you do not finish. We use it to help you finish your application and to follow up with you.
- Automatically: your IP address, browser and device, the pages you visit, the campaign link you arrived from, and how you move through the application and the chat (which steps you reach, not what you type), through cookies and similar tools, including Umami analytics and Google's advertising tags.
- From others: phone and email validation results, and, if you apply, credit reports and business information from credit bureaus and data providers.
- Calls: recordings and notes of calls, which may be monitored and recorded.
How we use it
To process your application and find funding options for your business; to contact you by phone, text and email about your application and business funding, as described in our Terms of Acceptance and SMS Terms; to verify information and prevent fraud; to understand and improve our site and application; and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Our funding partner, which receives and manages applications, may contact you about yours, and completes the full application.
- Lenders and funding providers in the network, so they can evaluate your business and make you an offer. We share with them at your direction when you apply.
- Service providers that work for us, including companies that contact applicants on our behalf, and providers of customer-relationship management, calling, texting, email, phone and email validation, analytics and hosting services. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- For legal reasons: to comply with law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties except service providers that send messages on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your choices

- Calls: tell the caller, or email [email protected] or call (844) 528-8696.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. To make a request, email [email protected] or call (844) 528-8696. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and an authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.

How long we keep it
As long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations, including keeping records of consent and Do-Not-Call requests for at least five years.
Security

Advertising, remarketing and sharing with our funding partner
This site carries the Google Ads tag. When you visit, Google sets a cookie in your browser that records the visit: the pages you viewed, when, and an identifier for your browser. It does not record the name, phone number, email or answers you give in the application.
National Capital works with a business funding company, our funding partner. It uses those records, through its Google Ads account, to show you ads for business funding on other websites and apps. Under California law that may be "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and some other states treat it as targeted advertising.
You can opt out on Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. This site also honors Global Privacy Control: a browser that sends it is opted out automatically. You can also manage how Google uses your data at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
